Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers unveils a new visual; Publish window

Tokyo avengers was one of the biggest new anime series to arrive last year in 2021, telling a unique time travel story that saw a young delinquent attempt to save the love of his life by going deep into the throes of a mafia organization. With the first season being a success, the second season has already been confirmed, with a new key visual letting fans know when they can expect the “Christmas Showdown Arc” to arrive in 2023.

The official Twitter account has shared the brand new key visual for The Tokyo Avengers second season, which brings together some of the main actors of the time travel epic to prepare for the return of the popular series:

If you haven’t had a chance to dive into this wild anime story that is Tokyo avengersCrunchyroll has released an official description of the series with the streaming service currently having the first season as part of its extensive anime library:

“Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer who has reached the height of despair in his life. He discovers that the only girlfriend he ever had in his life whom he dated in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after he learned of his death, he stands on the station platform and ends up being pushed onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he is on about to die, but when he reopens them, he had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he has once again experienced the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge with his life by saving his girlfriend and changing that he fled.

Tokyo avengers became so popular that the series even received its own live-action movie which hit Japan in the summer of last year, although a North American release date for the adaptation has yet to be announced. not yet announced at this stage.
