Spike Chunsoft has announced the North American and European localization of Anonymous;Code and the PC release via Steam of Chaos;Head Noah.

Today, Spike Chunsoft hosted his panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles and made some interesting reveals for fans of Mages’ Science Adventure visual novel franchise.

First, Anonymous;Code is officially coming to North America and Europe for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

It’s been a while since the game was announced in 2015 (at one point it was supposed to come to PS Vita) and after numerous delays it’s finally releasing in Japan this month. It will hit Western markets in 2023 and a Steelbook launch edition will be available.

Below, you can check out the trailer, a message from producer Tatsuya Matsubara, and an official description straight from Spike Chunsoft.

“The highly anticipated science adventure series ANONYMOUS;CODE is coming to the West in 2023. This is the latest work from STEINS;GATE creator Chiyomaru Shikura in collaboration with returning science adventure series staff. Live the story of the hackers who will rewrite the future.

Nakano, Tokyo.
Pollon Takaoka is caught in a tangle of intrigue following his encounter with the mysterious girl Momo and faces a major event that shakes the world. Play with Pollo and help him hack into the myriad branches of reality and “charge” the world-saving ending!”

The next news will rather please visual novel fans on PC since Chaos;Head Noah arrives in English on PC via Steam, in addition to the Switch version announced some time ago.

It will arrive on October 7, 2022, the day and date with the release of the Chaos;Head Noah/Chaos;Child Double Pack for Nintendo Switch.

This completes the package on PC, as Chaos;Child has been available on Steam for quite some time.

Below you can read an official description of the game.

“Takumi Nishijo is a second-year high school student on the verge of becoming a closet. “I have no interest in 3D.” He lives surrounded by his beautiful female figures in his room. He lives in Shibuya, where there are had a series of bizarre serial murders known as “New Generation Madness” (aka NewGen). The culprit has yet to be caught and caused turmoil on the internet and on TV. One day a gruesome image who seemed to predict NewGen’s next murder was sent by a mysterious figure called “Shogun”. The next day, when returning from school, Takumi encounters a gruesome crime scene, exactly as expected. In front of the corpse is a soaked girl of blood – Rimi Sakihata.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Science Adventure franchise, it includes series like Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head Noah, Chaos;Child and Robotics;Notes. Basically, if it’s from Mages and has a semicolon in the middle of the title, it’s a Science Adventure visual novel.

Fans of Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness also got a little surprise during the panel, with the reveal of a special video message from Made in Abyss creator Akihito Tsukushi.

The game is coming to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 2, 2022.
