Psychological Horror Visual Novel ‘Needy Streamer Overload’ Announces October 2022 Nintendo Switch Port; Trailer

During today’s Indie Live Expo broadcast, the management simulator, Overload of needy streamers by developer xemono and publisher WSS playground, has been announced to receive a Nintendo Switch port. This version of the title will launch digitally on October 27, 2022. Additionally, Japan will receive a limited physical release, including an art book and soundtrack CD.

Needy streamer overdose Players assume the role of P-chan, acting as both a lover and a producer for online streaming idol Ame-chan. Ame-chan happens to be a hot mess and craves your approval to the point where she will take your advice to further her online idol career. She’s cute, she’s selfish, and she’s a little screwed up…and it’s up to you to turn her into a top streamer.

The gameplay asks players to take care of a young girl with an unhealthy need for your attention. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also obsessed with the internet. Players will get to know Ame-chan and her alter-ego OMGkawaiiAngel-chan, who she becomes in streaming.

You will have to guide her to get more subscribers and comments until she becomes the most popular girl online. Of course, this is all happening on a computer screen and via chat; it’s also very unhealthy in real life, but it’s a video game, so it’s cool, and we’re not judging.

  • The title is available now on PC via Steam, which has sold over 450,000 units worldwide.
