Michigan multi-platinum artist DDG releases new single and visual for “Storyteller” today and announces European and US tour dates

Multiplatinum Pontiac, rising MI artist DDG unveils a new single titled “Storyteller” through its joint venture with Epic Records and announces its European and American tour schedule for the summer. To listen “Storyteller”HERE.

The track pairs airy acoustic guitar with a brisk beat as its narrative bars settle in. It culminates in one of its catchiest and most lilting choruses to date, “Sexy girls got cold hearts, cold hearts hide deep scars like a motherfucker, deep scars make better stories, but I’m no storyteller. It finally illuminates another facet of this fiery hip-hop force!

He comes on the heels of his otherworldly banger “Elon Musk” [feat. Gunna]. The latter has generated an impressive 24 million Spotify streams and account and 9.6 million YouTube views on the Musical clip. From the start, it was critically acclaimed. Complex observed, “The Pontiac, Michigan native plays back-to-back with Gunna to an ethereal 808 beat,and UPROXX added, DDG decides to take his talents to space.Meanwhile, Music of our generation put it better, “With each passing year, it continues to improve its status, bringing high-level features and constantly dropping its own quality music.”

DDG elevated culture on its own terms. Last year he was on the cover of KAZI Magazine, UPROXX, FIRSTand XXL as part of the coveted Freshman Class of 2021. Not to mention he crossed the billion stream mark on the heels of his acclaimed project Die 4 Respect with O.G. Parker. However, this only sets the stage for a huge 2022.

All of which just sets the stage for a busy second half of the year for the internet mogul who recently announced via his YouTube channel that he was setting up the first DAO print label in the web3 music space and will allow his fans and other DAO token holders to make all decisions for his label, Zooted Music, starting July 15.

In addition to dropping a highly anticipated new project in mid-July, tentatively titled “Take Me Serious 2,” a sequel to the cult classic mixtape the young emcee dropped in 2017, DDG will be flying to Europe in July to hit the festival circuit, including Wireless Festival in the UK, WooHah in the Netherlands, Rolling Loud Portugal and Splash in Germany, followed by three US headlines in Chicago, Atlanta and New York on the 14th, July 15 and 16, respectively.
