Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Anime Reveals First Visual
An anime adaptation for Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is on the way!
The first visual of the next Kubo won’t let me be invisible The anime series was revealed on the official Twitter account on Friday. The visual features the series’ main characters, Kubo Nagisa and Jyunta Shiraishi, and is drawn by the anime’s character designer Yoshiko Saito.
Animation, cast and studio staff
Kazuomi Koga (Rent a girlfriend, fire force) will direct the series while Yuya Takahashi (One Piece Stampede, Fairy tale) is in charge of the script. Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri Kanroji- demon slayerKanade Tachibana – angel beats) will voice Kubo Nagisa and Kengo Kawanishi (Gen- Dr StoneRei Kiriyama– Mars is coming like a lion) will voice Jyunta Shiraishi.
Studio PINE JAM will produce the upcoming anime series. Although a relatively new studio, PINE JAM has produced big name series since its inception in 2015, including Players!, Gleipnir, Just because !and Kageji Shojo!!
Kubo won’t let me be invisible manga
Written and illustrated by Nene Yukimori, the manga began serialization on October 24, 2019, in Jump young weekly. The series placed 19th out of 50 at the Next Manga Awards in 2020, then jumped to 7th place at the same awards the following year. US publisher VIZ Media licensed the series towards the end of 2021 and released the first volume earlier this year. There are currently 9 volumes published in Japan with the first two published in English. Volume 3 will be released in September.
The series is also published in English and Spanish on Shueisha’s MANGAPlus app.
When Kubo sits next to Shiraishi during their freshman year of high school, Shiraishi’s non-existent social skills are boosted. Speaking in class is just the beginning for Shiraishi – soon Kubo is forcing her to get noticed at school, at the bookstore, and all over town. Shiraishi’s once dull life isn’t so boring anymore!
