Joseimuke’s Visual Novel ‘Haunted Obachestra’ Reveals Impulsive Hellhound Boy Dhyos Meidoh

Moonchime Studios has shared a new character profile for Haunted Obachestra. Their Twitter account revealed information about the second member of the Hellhound triplets, Dhyos Meidoh. The visual novel joseimuke developed by Poni-Pachet will have a Kickstarter launching in July 2022, although more details about this crowdfunding campaign will be shared later.

Written by Yumas (Ozmafia!!, Steam Prison), Haunted Obachestra tells the story of a young man or woman called Yukiha Nasu. They end up moving into a Western-style house because the rent is cheap, but not only will they be sharing a house with multiple people, those people happen to be non-humans who enjoy playing old-fashioned instruments and practicing at basement.

We already know the vampire Exnaz von Enterstein, the incubus Merry Christhrnova, the werewolf Gioh von Wolfhart, the unicorn Fumiyomi Hitokado and the first hellhound Henas Meidoh. Now we take a closer look at Henas’ brother, Dhyos. Keep in mind that all three are voiced by Shingaki Tarusuke, whose other works include Kaname Date in AI: The Somnium Files, Fin Euclase in Steam Prison, and Watase Kasasagi in Root Double.

They were once a single entity, an Underworld watchdog, but they split into three to play music together after wandering into a Japanese club. Dhyos is responsible for the piano and also works on vocals like Henas. When it comes to personality, he’s the type to make quick decisions all the time. Dhyos is an energetic jerk who likes to run when it’s hot and sunny.

He can seem rough around the edges and hates when people keep him waiting. He is popular with the other guys for his boyish/manly attitude and feels like he has a connection to the werewolf Gioh because they are both canine individuals. He is the one who takes care of cooking for the triplets because they share the same body and it is usually high in carbohydrates. His personality honestly sounds like a big dog.

If you want to get a glimpse of Dhyos’ voice, you can check out the official Japanese site of Poni-Pachet’s multimedia project which offers some excerpts of his voice. If you want to check out the musical performance of the Hellhound triplets, check out this video from their character album:

We’ll keep you posted when Moonchime and Poni-Pachet share more information on the upcoming Haunted Obachestra English version.
