G Herbo and Rowdy Rebel Connect for “Drill” Visual

Last Saturday (July 2) marked one year since the release of G Herbo’s fourth studio album. 25. This project featured 19 songs and additional contributions from Polo G, Lil Tjay, 21 Savage, The Kid LAROI, Gunna, Yosohn and Rowdy Rebel, the last of which provided assistance on the notable cut “Drill”. Produced by Luca Vialli, “Drill” unites Chicago and Brooklyn with hard-hitting bars that show how similar street life is in the two territories:

“‘Member, what happened to the last one, I jumped and smashed ’em, lil’ brodie blasted ’em, oppers see me on plasma, I know they crazy, we was harassing ’em, got Took a rap check, bought high seats, only for the action, don’t matter if we smash ’em, gotta learn how to war, shit not nice, met lil’ cause cross town for a swap meet , ever seen a nigga get hit? Just look at me, nights I couldn’t sleep, taking Perky and Roxy, we only spared him, we see a car seat, he’s in the corner and say that He’s gonna blow me up…”

In celebration of 25For his first anniversary, G Herbo decided to release a video for “Drill” under the direction of A Zae Production. The clip shows Rebel bonding with his Chi-Town counterpart at various locations, including a fast-paced market with a crowd of people and in the back of a high-end SUV.

Along with “Drill,” G Herbo blessed his fans with 25 photos and videos taken during his 25 scrapbook campaign. A visit to his Instagram will reveal snaps of various freestyles, intimate photos with the family, notable performances, and more. The more hardcore fans were also likely thrilled to see that merchandise on G Herbo’s website had a 25% off sale over the weekend.
