‘Date A Live’ season 4 trailer

Date A Live has finally unveiled its new release schedule after its postponement from last year with a new teaser! The series’ fourth season was originally slated to debut last year and was delayed until last fall with a vague 2022 date set for next season. Given that the show’s third season premiered in 2019 and the fourth was set to be picked up by another studio, a delay was a bummer but not exactly the most shocking one. But, the wait will soon be over as the fourth season has been announced to release this spring.

Even though the exact release date for the new episodes has yet to be announced, the series has released the best preview of the upcoming season with an action-packed teaser. Also included is “Over” by Miuy Tomita as a new opening theme.

What did the series reveal?

Sweet ARMS will sing “SOS” as the season 4 ending theme, according to the show. Akari Kageyama and Hitomi Nabatame join the cast as Mokuro Hoshimiya and Nia Honjo, respectively. In addition to Nobunaga Shimazaki, Marina Inoue, Misuzu Togashi, Ayana Taketatsu, Iori Nomizu, Asami Sanada, Kaguya Yamai, Sarah Emi Bridcutt, Miku Izayoi, Minori Chihara, and Ayumi Mano, who all returned from the previous three seasons, the new members of the cast will be joined by those from the previous three seasons, including Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shido It

Date A Live IV will feature a new studio and production team, just like previous seasons. The next season of Geek Toys will be directed by Jun Nakagawa, the director of the spin-off Date A Bullet. The scripts for the season will be written by Fumihiko Shimo (Talentless Nana), while Naoto Nakamura will design the characters. The cosmetic changes to the first three episodes give fans a glimpse of what’s to come, but whether that holds up in the actual episodes remains to be seen.
